One of the companies I love to tout in my Customer Service Keynotes/ Training is Chick-Fil-A. And Business Insider has just reported on a new service Chick is offering to families with young children. A service that will improve the sit-down experience for ALL customers and which will increase the friendly “touches” between Chick employees and diners.

The new service is called “Mom’s Valet.” Here’s how it works. The family orders at the drive through and says “Mom’s Valet.” While Chick employees hustle inside, the family parks, gets the kids out ( you should watch my daughter and son-in-law get kids ages 11, 9, 4, 2 and newborn out of the car. Major work!) and goes inside.

Chick employees will have a table with designated number of seats (including high chairs) ready for the family. Less muss. Less fuss. AND—other customers aren’t held up at the counter.

Great companies are always improving their culture/ service. Otherwise, well,  you know!
